A. D. Envirotech Australia Pty Ltd, a recognised leader in hazardous materials surveys, identification, management and abatement, houses its own NATA-accredited laboratory for:

  • Membrane Filter Method for Estimating airborne Asbestos
  • Method for the Qualitative Identification of Asbestos bulk samples


Our laboratory is operational 24 hrs 7 days a week and is equipped with the latest range of analytical instruments. This in-house laboratory service ensures that ADE is capable of responding to urgent situations, when required.

All of asbestos laboratory work and reporting is done in accordance with the:

  • AS4964 - 2004 Qualitative identification of asbestos types in bulk samples
  • Worksafe Australia Guidance Note on Membrane Filter Method for Estimating Airborne Asbestos Fibres 2nd Edition [NOHSC:3003(2005)].


Air monitoring for asbestos is the mandatory procedure during asbestos removal operations. The monitoring conducted in accordance with the Worksafe Australia Guidance Note on Membrane Filter Method for Estimating Airborne Asbestos Fibres 2nd Edition [NOHSC:3003(2005)].
